Learned that during the 21st week, River starts to taste what I eat through the amniotic fluid. I’ve been more conscious of what I eat now, making sure I have fruits and veggies. I love putting yogurt on my fruits :). I have to train him as early as now to love fruits and veggies. I also need to work on my struggle with my craving for salty food.
Cooking is still my favorite pastime these days. Some of the food I prepared in the past days, more of a repeat / practice, and no new experiments yet (except for the salt and pepper squid in olive oil, with basil – no photo – husband found it too salty :D)
Discovered the wonders of Spotify! I saved a lot of albums in my library, ranging from baby music to movie soundtracks I used to listen through cassette tapes in the car during the long drive going to and from school way back in college. Nostalgia rushed in as I listened to the songs from “My Best Friend’s Wedding” and “You’ve Got Mail!”
My favorite (and I think River’s favorite too) playlists are those from Hillsong Lullaby! I saved Volumes 1, 2, and 3 🙂
Can’t get enough of browsing through baby stuff on Instagram! I chanced upon very nice swaddle blankets with Scripture on them and fell in love with those! Bought 2 for River, and additional other blankets as gifts for my baby nephews and 2 others for 2 more babies coming soon, too, this year!)
River moves often but briefly, so it is hard for my husband to catch him moving. But tonight, my husband finally felt him move for the first time. River was moving at shorter intervals this time – could it be because of the dark chocolate cake I had for dessert? Or the milk I just drank?
