DVT Updates

Still have blood clot in my right leg, according to the latest scan results.  Thankful to my cardiologist who discussed the results to me over the phone.  Without consultation fee! He said my DVT is “chronic” and no longer “acute.” My leg doesn’t bother me at all anymore since a few days after I was discharged from the hospital – no more leg pain and I feel normal.

The doctor reminded me to exercise / “pump” my feet, and not to stay in one position for a long time.

The new normal for me is wearing these tight anti-thrombolic stockings. I always wear my one and only pair of slip-on rubber “sneakers” for  some time now because of my white stockings.  Been looking for a new pair of slip-on sneakers, particularly, white, and was glad to finally found a pair that suits me well ๐Ÿ™‚ white sneakers at that too!  Was about to settle for black ones because white gets dirty easily.  But this pair, because it is made of microfiber leather, is easy to clean ๐Ÿ™‚

Yes, they are slip-ons ๐Ÿ™‚

Went to see my rheumatologist / reproductive immunologist also and she said everything’s fine ๐Ÿ™‚ She further advised that I should only go back and see her in my 30th week, and no longer monthly, as long as my OB says there is nothing wrong with my ultrasound scans and that the baby’s growing as expected.  Yehey! During my 30th week, she’ll start decreasing my Innohep dosage.

Finally got the clinic to dispose for us these used syringes and needles I’ve accummulated since November.  We don’t want to throw it along with our regular garbage because these might be reused.   The box was already probably a little over half full before I filled it with my own syringes.

Thank You, Lord, for taking good care of me through my doctors ๐Ÿ™‚
