Pancit Bihon Guisado – It was easy to make – can’t believe I cooked this for the first time!  Well, there’s quite a lot of preparations.  Don’t forget the oyster sauce!

Portobello Mushroom Pasta – Simple yet tasty!  My hard to please mom even liked it!  Added truffle oil and used truffle flavored olive oil for my version of this recipe.

I make sure I sit down once in a while and that I am not standing for a long time while cooking.  Glad to have some help for the mise en place or the preparations of the ingredients like washing, slicing, and cutting.

Next project would be beef kaldereta (already browsed through some recipes) and, for my husband’s Chinese birthday, birthday misua – my Ah-ma’s recipe ๐Ÿ™‚

I wonder what your favorite dish will be, Zara?  While waiting for you, Mommy’s learning how to cook.  We will have Pinoy style spaghetti on your birthdays, just like how Guama would cook spaghetti for us on our birthdays.  I can cook Lola’s style fried chicken too!  And on your Chinese birthday, birthday misua.  I’ll teach you to bake and cook! ๐Ÿ™‚  You’ll love it in our kitchen ๐Ÿ™‚
